Bay leaves have antibacterial properties. Bay leaves inhibit the growth of both Staphylococcus aureus and E. Coli. Also known to fight off H. Pylori, a bacterium that causes ulcers and even cancer. Bay leaf is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B6, calcium, iron, and manganese.
